Title: ABS & TC LIGHTS

Hello All

Its been a while since my last cry for help..(not complaining)...anyway i drive an R reg 2.5 V6 Auto ...just recently i get the ABS & TC lights come on...this happens after driving a few miles...and when it does happen the speedo goes dead and very occasionaly the steering gets heavy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Afraid its your ABS ECU packing up.

Barsteward of a job to change due to space restrictions.

Could get yours reconned (BBA do it for about £130) or get a second hand one (around £45) - but you need one same part nº as yours as well as off same year and model or else requires Tech2 to set up.

Search for abs ecu on here - quite a few members have changed em including me.

I have a 2.5 v6 one here but its a manual box one...part number will end in 206 but for some unknown reason they put the part number sticker on the underneath of the ECU so cant see what it is till its off the car! lol
