Title: Can't unlock the door

On the way home from work this evening my wife locked the passenger door from the inside. Now we can't unlock it. I have tried:
 
pulling up the button
opening from the inside
opening from the outside
locking and unlocking with the remote
locking and unlocking using the key

nothing has worked.

Any ideas?

Don't panic! its now sorted. I realised there was one combination I had not tried.

I sat in the car locked the drivers door with the button, then unlocked it the same way and the passenger door unlocked as well.
 ;D
