Hi
My car is LPG converted with a Tartarini System. It runs fine on petrol but does not run on gas.
When running on petrol the EML light keeps coming on with a P0170 fuel trim codes. luckily i have a cheap code reader which can clear the code.
Now can this be the reason why my LP system is not working?
I have recenly taken this car to the dealers for a different problem and have spent a huge amount of money .
Is there any one in theyorkshire area who has a tech 2 and expereince with Omegas.
Is there anyone who can help me by tellingme what to check or change first

0170 is a fuel trim code. If it occurs when running only on petrol it would indicate that the ECU is having to make a large adjustment to the injected volume of fuel to maintain the correct mixture.
Possibilities would be poor fuel delivery due to blocked injectors, clogged filter, etc, poor air metering (MAF sensor) or leaks of unmetered air into the intake or exhaust systems.
However, as it affects both fuels I would say we can eliminate the petrol system, so air leaks (blowing exhaust manifold? Leak in the intake ducting?) or perhaps a poorly MAF sensor.
If the error disappears when you've run it on petrol for a day or two, I would say it's poor adjustment of the LPG system.
