Title: Fault code P1625 anybody?
Post by: kevin61 on 23 December 2008, 18:04:57
My '02 2.6 V6 went in to my local garage because of an occasional reluctance to change up a gear.  Fluid was found to be okay but then they found the fault code P1625 "Power control final stage low input"  on their Snap-on reader.

Can anyone explain what it means?

Thanks :)

sorry Kevin, dont know myself but a quick google gives 2 or 3 different descriptions for that code. Maybe a more experienced member will know.
Bump.

P1625 seems to be an engine trouble code indicating that the gearbox ECU has raised a fault. More information could probably be gleaned by checking the gearbox ECU for trouble codes using a Tech 2, where a more detailed description will be found.
