ive just purchased a omega 2.2dti,on the way home i noticed when i braked the car pulled over to the right.the dealer has just replaced the nearside caliper, any idea why its doing this.

Check the tyre pressures to ensure the same on each side of the car, front and rear.
Dealer may have used new pads on one side only so need bedded in. (Cheapskate and dangerous if he has. Should be done in axle pairs)
Air not bled out the caliper properly on nearside causing innefective operation.
Dealer made a James Hunt of the job on reassembly and got copper grease all over the disc and pads.... Not good!

uneven brake/tire performence ar said or possibly right side wishbone bushes allowing the wheel to stear right under breaking. Another thing to check when your under there.

You'll probably find that if it is the N/S caliper not up to full efficiency or as said badly fitted/airlock then when it does work properly then it'll pull to the left under braking :-X :(.
If this does occur then give the D/S caliper a good service and fit a new set of pads to both :y.
HTH,
Pete :).
