Title: 2.2 Facelift - Engine number location?

Hi all, have not got any service history with my rec acquired 2001/2.2/CDX. Therefore planning cambelt/kit next week. Does anyone know where the engine number is located on the block? Cannot trust logbook as car is very high mileage but drives unbelievaby well, so may be exchange engine unit.

Usually on the right (passenger) side of the block just above the oil filter if I remember correctly. ;)

Thaks will check tmro in daylight. But thought oil filter was on left [drivers] side as you look at front of engine? Hmmmmmmm
