Hi Guy's & Gal's,
Fitted a new battery in my 3.0ltr Mig last September and new Auxilliary drive belt last month. So felt ok about winter use.
Now today on the way home from work power sounder goes off!!
If I switch off Climate control it silences but as soon as I put it back on sounder alarms again.
Me think's battery is waving goodbye as I have no battery warning light which leads me to believe alternator is working ok.
Car starts fine etc just does't seem to be enough juice going around car to run all the bit's and bob's any suggestions before I go to the VX stealer for a new battery?? any ideas are appreciated. :-/

measure the battery. dont rule out the problematic power sounder

My main battery is spot on, but the powersounder battery was knackered totally - it sounded by itself and only stopped when I ripped it from the car and trashed the pcb inside

How old is your car ?

Thanks for the prompt replies guys.
I will check battery output when I can get to see it in daylight.
Car is a 1998 3.0ltr Manual
looks favourite for power sounder issues judging by comments so far.

Yes the famous sounder!.. Had to take mine off the car,Kept going off everytime i started the car (at first) then usually went off all on its own (3 am was its favourite time) got the usual checks done, battery, alternator, all fine. So it had to go. Get your battery and alternator checked first mate. Any place that sells them can usually check yours for free.

Battery in the sounder has a life of 10 years + in ideal conditions.
In the UK we dont have ideal conditions so I suspect that the battery in the sounder is failing.
Your best bet is to disconect it.
