Title: blocked breather system

could this result in

loss of power
higher fuel comsumtion

just been back to garage were i got car and they tell me that it just had a new oil cooler before i got it (complete with blocked matrix) thought they would have cleaned the coolant system down after the oil cooler.. whats your thoughts :(

my thoughts are possible head gasket, needs further investigation :-/

emmmm hope not it drives sweet as a nut but get little smell of heated oil from rockers...

was just w :-?ondering if the performance will get even better once the breather system is cleaned of all the smog...

If the breathers are blocked it would not help as there is olny one way out for the oil....rocker covers ..I would take them off and have a check to see how they look and give them a good clean, have just done this myself and very easy  :y.
