Hi,
i have to buy cam cover gasket driver's side EU (UK passanger side) and i don't remember is seal made of 1 part or 2 separate parts and are passanger and drivers side the same. Need to order it and they in Opel arent sure eather :-/ .
thx
-
When you order them over here you get one side in one bag which consists of two seperate gaskets.
-
Has far as i can recal they have a seal for each side ( one drivers and one passangers )
Hope that helps.
-
Its two loops for each bank.
-
But the part number includes the two loops. Need to buy the orings as well mind.
-

if genuine only come in pairs does that mean he has non genuine gaskit(which fail easily) on one side? If so do both sides with genuine. And clean breathers at same time, but you know that.
-
but you need a pair for each side (two camshafts on each bank) - ie two pairs to do a complete V6. - hence in Pete's post where he says 2 sets.

Oh i see, changed the both cam covers on mine, which come with seals attached. Ill get my coat, hat, gloves etc.

i have found (genuine) in service without cover cause with cover it's to expencive. but the stuff if useles, i have to tell them all of the things cause they sed me the price of one seal what is impossible cause in set there comes 2 seals, talking of one side cause on summer i have done the other side. on summer the price was 10 pounds less and today is 40 pounds for 1 set (2 seals), they have constantly telling me that one is 40 pounds and after i told them the price that i payed on summer they checked again and come with answer " o, i have hear and it says 1 seal of 2 parts and you have to order and wait for it 7 days...), they are so funny and they dont know shit. so i have to order and will pay 40 pounds for one side and not 80 like they tryed to convince me ;D . thats ok cause other tryed to give me whole set with cover and ti cost 160 pounds, mad mans :D.
now i will give it a try in germany cause i have relative there but dont know if the part number in germany matches the one in croatia, mine and yours dont match :( .
