What is the above telling me??
Is it the level sensor not working in some way on the n/s wishbone or something else??
TIA
Happy New Year to you all :)
-
headlight levelling not working.
Usual culprits are the 2 suspension sensors or the servos, with front suspension sensor being most common.

Where is the other sensor then Jaime?
The servos etc....were all tested by Kevin about a month ago and were all working fine :(

both sensors are pass side, front wishbone bracket to body, turn wheel to right lock and pear in between wheel and door. Its probably popped off since last time the car was jacked up or whatever. Clean and pack with grease then push back on firmly into the ball joint but its probably buggerd.
Rear can be seen between door and wheel on rear wishbone iirc.

I thought the rear one was for the self leveling suspension :-/

No, sl is a square box with a right angle lever/arm and plastic rose joint by the fuel filter.

Ultimately, you might need it plugging in to a TechII to find out what upsetting it. I don't know if a Cheapo TechII will read the fault. :-/

The "My Naff Code Reader" system will, it can be found on ebay, but there are doubts over the authenticity of the software that comes with it. Mine is saying Field/Vision and it tells me its a problem with the drivers' side headlamp. Hope that helps

Level sensors checked, all free to move and not broken.
I have manually moved the headlamp adjusters as these were lowered for the MOT >:(
Message has cleared at the moment.....fingers crossed. Will have to wait and see.
If that fails then will have to get it Tech11ed.

Mine looked OK but a 'new' FNS sensor cured my message.

The headlamp levelling MUST work (legal requirement), the fact you have that error is a warning its NOT working. The system will try to lower lights as low as possible to ensure no glare to other road users.
Fix the fault, not bodge the symptom ;)

Boll*x.....warning persists >:(
Will have to be a Tech11 i think :(

Check the wiring where it enters the plugs at the sensors on the suspension.
I the same problem with mine and after changing most of the componants it turned out to be one of the wires on the front sensor right at the point where it enters the plug, it had broken within the insulation.

I have had the car Tech11ed.
The fault code is B3413 Syptom 0 and present.
Front car level sensor high input (voltage)
I have been advised to check the pins for good contact. If this does not cure it then a new sensor required.
Does this sound right??

Sorry, I don't. :( Your dealer should have though, or those people on here that might have access to part numbers ;)
Front and rear are the same, just different bracketry.
My 'new' sensor was kindly donated from here FOC
...... and I can't now remember who :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
