Title: New Exhaust Manifold Gasket

Can anyone confirm that you can only get the new type of exhaust manifold gasket (multimetal type) from a vx dealer and their not gonna give you a old type one that were originally fitted at the factory?

Reason I ask is that I'm about to change the exhaust manifold gasket on my car and the type I got was was black in colour and is made up of 3 layers of metal, does this sound like the correct one?

That is the correct gasket...dark grey and metal multi layer
