Title: Might need wishbone bushes where to start?
Post by: Martin_1962 on 13 January 2009, 11:59:12
Mine are on their way out.

Do I replace whole arms or just bushes?

Which Ebay ones are worth having?

Is the MDTM rig working?

The bushes were worn and warped both sides. Mark had a look at them and advised me to replace the whole arm both sides. Did it with a mate not too much trouble at all really just followed the guide.
On Marks reccomendation i got mine from sutton auto factors but they have an online shop www.buypartsby.co.uk Cost me about £50 all in so not to bad really was quoted £230 by Vauxhall

hope this helps

iggy 22 on here ordered a load for a few people from Meyle http://www.wulfgaertner.com/Home/description.asp?lan=en&images=&de=30713069069&ma=84
39 a set for the car iirc. Pressed into an old pair of wishbones by Mr dtm with his press and drifts then fit as normal. The bushes i beleive are BMW items so hopefully better than gm.

But as you say, i think the press is bust.
