A few weeks ago my emissions light decided to acknowledge it's presence and illuminate.
Once lit it would remain so until I switched over to gas (I believe it is inhibited when running on gas), that effectively would reset the lamp until the next occurrence. Sometimes it would go for a couple of days without lighting but inevitably it would return :'(
Car was due a service, so I asked the Vx dealers in Taunton to have a look at it at the same time. They diagnosed the Bank 2 O2 sensor which was duely replaced.
Next time out lamp illuminated again, fault still apparent!! :'(
Have done the pedal trick and it has flashed up codes:
P0150 O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
P0150 O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
P0150 O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
P0150 O2 sensor circuit malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
and:
P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)
Does anybody have any thoughts on the cause as it obviously isn't the sensor???
Many thanks :y :y

Ive been bothered with the P0420 and had two new cats under warranty but it didnt fix it either (light came back on in a few days ) so dont rush out and pay lots of money for it as there may not be anything wrong with the cat .... i belive this is a common fault on the 3.2's and less common on others .... there is a good thread by Kevin Woods about this issues with fuel trim and cat effeiciency ..... dont know about the other faults though ....sorry ........... http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1223977027

Check the wiring and connection to the passenger side main O2 sensor (closest to the manifold).
Given you have LPG installed, it could be worth checking where they have spliced into the lambda circuit to for shorts/opens etc
