Title: Coil pack replacement
Post by: trinity0_10 on 16 January 2009, 15:14:20
After going out today the car felt as if it was on rumble strips over 50. It was the same on gas or petrol so I think the coil pack is a possibility. It was especially teeth jarring when accelerating. Cruising was not too bad and under 50 was reasonable.

Any advice or help for replacing the coil pack on a 2.5 V6 would be of help.

by coil pack i presume you think on dis pack, there is somewhere "how to", try to do a search. i think that its a little tricky to get to cause it stands behind the engine.

Though there is a good chance it is, do a paperclip test first, to see if engine thinks anything is wrong.  Also worth checking plugwells for oil
