my 3ltr auto elite has done 42000 she appears to bottom out when i am on a bumpy road it sounds like the wheel is hitting the wheel arch but there is no sign of this she always rides lovely with or without passengers apart from that she is mint.
ps i can build a house but useless at anything else cane any one help please. thanks.

check to make sure you aint got a busted spring, my old senator done the same after a rear spring snapped ;)

i am sorry ishoud have said i had a problem with self leverling but that apeard to sort its selfout it sounds as if its the back end grounding.thanks.

being a builder best get some blocks and put some in the boot, then check from the outside to see if anything is touching the ground (apart from the tyres) :y

Worn shocks can cause that (softens up suspension), and broken springs (common on rear) can lower ride height.

sounds like a broken spring/s

My estate was bottoming out when saloon shocks had been fitted in error so I suspect worn shocks ae the cause
