Title: Heated seats
Post by: FYS on 18 January 2009, 19:26:45

Hi,

I have an ex-Police omega 3.2 manual '04 plate.

It has poverty spec cloth interior and is NOT heated and has 'blank' switches on the dash.

I have bought a leather heated trim.

Questions;

Does every Omega have the same loom?
Is it plug and play - get the switches and away we go?
Do I need the whole loom from seat to switch to enable me to conect them?

Cheers,

Martin.

If your fitting heated rears you will need the loom and relays from under the rear seats

Thanks guys.

So, I should have the wiring/loom, but will need switches and (possibly ;-p ) a relay.

Just heated fronts - I don't sit in the back, so have no need to heat the back seats.... lol.

Cheers,

Martin.

that should be it martin :y
i think elite pete posted the reply saying that the relay was for the rears so you should just need the switches and the seats with the heaters in lol

The rears are switched via relays so they unlatch/switch off when the ignition is switched off.
