Started having this problem today.
Whilst driving the car it starts to cut out, this can be at any revs in any gear. It also does it while idling
It eventually goes to the point of stalling, and taking a long time to restart.
I'm going down the lines of doing the IACV and breather pipe clean tomorrow.
Is there anything else I should look out for?
The engine management light is NOT on
This is a 96 Omega 2.0 Auto

if icv, won't stall at higher revs, only idle
-
Also think fuel starvation... When was the filter last changed?? Fuel pump cutting out?
-
Same things happening to my car taking a fuel pressure test tommrow and cleaning ICV and checking pipes.
driving me nuts.
who does a good tech2 ? to localise the problem? wouldnt trust vx as far as i could throw em.

Any fault codes ?
-
yes fuel trim 0170 -- could be anything too many parts to replace.
02 sensor replaced
MAF replaced
vx cleaned ICV but i dont think they did it properly.
could be crank sensor or fuel pump
whats the egr?

Exhaust Gas Recirculation (valve)

Going to have a good look at it tomorrow, make sure everything is connected as it should be
IACV is being done anyway, as are the breathers
Think its time for the paper clip test
