Hi all,
I put a post up here yesterday to ask how i can get into a car with a totally flat battery, when the key won't work work in the door. Well i got in the car, got battery out, charged it over night, and have just put it back in the car.....
But, when i connect the positive terminal, the alarm goes mad. So i tried unlocking with the key fob, but that didn't work, and the key still won't work in the door.
Do i need to re-sync the key fob? If so, is that done by sitting in drivers seat, turning on ignition and pressing unlock button? And can i do this with the alarm going off?
Or do i need to do something totally different?
Many Thanks

is the Fob known to be faulty with a flat battery in it? Should work, as you say. Have you tried the key in the ignition to shut the alarm up?

Just sorted the problem.
Was able to climb in through the boot, put key in ignition and alarm stopped, doors unlocked. Was then able to resync the fob.
Wasn't very good with everyone going to school, and me climbing in through the boot with the alarm going!!! Was expecting old bill, but thankfully noone called them!!
