If i rememer right, the fogs use the bulp with a spade connector on the end of the wire. not the same as the omega ones. best bet is take fog light out, your gonna have to do it to change it anyways.

cheers

Vauxhall used to charge £20 for their filters, mine used to come from local motor factors ..... maybe Vauxhall have come to their senses and now charge a reasonable price????  :-/  :y

Thanks for all the help guys.  :y :y :y :y Will ring vx today. Now I know its not an omega, so sorry for all the senator questions  :-[
but your a brainy bunch so thought I'd give it a try.

Sometimes (twice in 50 miles) the diff vibrates at low speeds when pulling away.  Dave (old git) who I bought senny off has given me a big bottle of diff oil. Me n Christian will be changing that soon to see how it does. Could there be any other reason for this at all?  :-/

Have you joined the Autobahnstormers? They really are the men to ask about the straight 6 stuff. They also have a good forum, not quite as active as this, but still very very good and worth joining the club for. Besides you'll get a Trade Club card which will get you discounts for both cars.

yes....only fitted to Senator and carlton....i.e. not the usual Vx one that fitted everything from the 1.0 Nova to the 3.0 Omega!
Title: Re: Fog light bulb and oil for senny
Post by: andyc on 19 January 2009, 15:39:58
Yeah

Filter fitted to all straight six (CIH) engines but can be used on the four pot CIH as well.

The only odd ball in all that is a 2.5 Senator without A/c which uses a longer filter .
