I have "Blue fin" in my ST220 but having trouble locating a chip for my 2.6 n/a 2002 petrol Omega. Any ideas fellas ??
-
The 2.5 and 3.0 can have chips inserted/changed but I think the 2.6 and 3.2 cannot.
-
Thanks for that --

superchips do them for all the omegas afaik
search for superchips in the uk on google ;)

the 2.2 / 2.6 / 3.2 have flashable ecu's. you can chip them but you get very minimal improvements. I would stick 3.2 cams in your 2.6 that will give a healthy improvement for less
-
afaik arnt the 3.0 and 3.2's the same? (the cams that is)

No....
3.2 has fly by wire throttle (no cables), no EGR, no ICV and other electrical/brain differences. Still learning what they are yet myself!!

sorry broocie, i'v modified my post (i meant just the actual cams)

yes ngrainqey the 3.0 and 3.2 i believe have the same cams as the vvoc lot recommend 3.0 or 3.2 cams to up the power of the 2.5/2.6 veccys
3.2 also has coil per plug ignition
chipping my mv6 made little noticible difference except the fuel consumption went down!
