Have a 2.5v petrol Elite Estate 2000 v reg and just chasing 40.000mls at what revs should the engine tickover.
Also sometimes it will stall in reverse as though Ive taken the bite up too quick.
No other running probs

Should be 5/600 revs, depending on whether aircon is on or off, and be an appreciable difference in revs when switching it on/off.

Stalling in reverse - autobox or manual?

Bloody plonker were`nt I,
  manuel
 and the tickover dead on 500 speeds up when air con selected but I leave system in auto/eco.
I ask the question because Im old school mechanic and think tickover should be 650.
Oh and I wont open the toolbox if I can elp it the spanners are cold and they hurt me hands.might ave a twiddle wiv a small screwdriver if pushed.
