Hello
can anyone tell me the recommended mileage to change the oil in the autobox, the cars done 85000,
-
VX don't specify an interval but most on here would say every 60K would be good.
-
60k is a bit early in my opinion. I would say when it reaches 100k then again at 150k

-
according to oof guide to service intervals every 60k for atf and filter.
Either way yours is over 70 already. Some go longer than that before playing up. Any thumping or banging when engaging gears?

There is one mentioned in TIS
KTA-2267 00026640 30.07.1999 Transmission fluid change as of model year 2000
A transmission fluid change is performed during every 6th annual inspection (90,000 km) for automatic transmissions AR 25/AR 35. Consult the Service Plan for further information.

cheers guys,
gearchanges are smooth at the moment, and no noise, but it seems like it's due, so i'll add it to the next servce

ATF and filter were changed (plus torque converter flushed) every 40,000 miles on my previous 2.0 GLS.
Local auto-transmission specialists did it for around £80 each time - much cheaper and easier than I could do it for. That car is now at colossal mileage and the 'box is still as smooth as silk with absolutely no problems.
