Hiya guys at weekend i am going to swap self levelling shocks for standard ones .Have been told i will have to remove fuse for the compressor according to handbook this is fuse no 27 (level control accessory socket)is this correct ? cheers.

aye and while youre at it you can replace the knackered brakes. patch up the blown exhaust. cry youre eyes out at the broken springs. and try not to cut youre hands on the rusty wheel arches. ;D

on which car are these self levelling shocks, are they air operated?
the reason i ask is cos my rangie has airbags and i love em, the best ride ever. although can be a bit of a pig when they go mad!

They're air assisted but not the same as the air bags you see on HGV's ( I haven't seen what's on a Range Rover :-/) :y. You' find them standard on the Elite saloons & estates (unless someone has replaced them with standard dampers - like mine had. Don't know what else .... higher spec estates????? :-/ :y :y
