Title: Head light washers
Post by: LFF64 on 24 January 2009, 09:34:38
I now have my headlight washers working ,Thanks Elite Pete  :y
Could someone post a picture of the jets just so I can get an idea of the angles they are at please . They pop out easily with a comperssed air line poked up them  ;D I spent ages on the workshop floor trying to find the bloody thing  ::)

All I did when I replace mine was set them so the nozzle looked like it was aimed at the bottom half of the lense and slightly towards the center (left to right wise). They then aim correctly when the jet moves out under use.
If they are still not aimed right get someone else to operate them while you watch from a bit further away so you can see where they are hitting and can then adjust accordingly.
I tried taking a photo for you, but you cant tell where the jets are aimed, sorry.

Thank you Al I got the neighbour to assist as she was at home when I got in  :P .
They seem better and now spray the headlight and not the bonnet  :y
