Apparently there should be one and suggested that a good idea to clean it on long haulers. There should be some maintnence access some where behind the starter egnige looking from below.
Not to mention how to clean this puppy up. Dry cloth, brush or fluid?
No clear guide/pic to this yet. Any ideas?

If it needed cleaning, what would the symptoms be ?

being as it only picks up on the 6 pips on the back of the flywheel,
would imagine it would result in a no start situation if it was very dirty, as the ecu wouldnt know where the pistons were to inject the fuel :(

Just wondering. Cheers :y

Its a hall type sensor, can't see cleaning helping, unless magnetised filings have stuck to it...
I can take a picture of its location if required - possible to get to it (be feel) from underneath.
