Title: supercharged
Post by: oz69 on 24 January 2009, 22:13:32
hi people.....i've got an omega mv6 (police spec) currently running 255bhp with various mods, i need more power............
i've been looking at doing a conversion - holden 3.8 engine supercharged by an eaton m62 as standard, (imported from australia.)
after a bit of home work i found out that this engine is only produces 230 bhp cause its only 12valve and as such would be a down grade.

does any one know how i can fit a supercharger to my current 3.0 mv6 24 valve engine.
any help would be greatly appriciated :-?
cheers oz

Is it a 3.0 or 3.2 - not sure the 3.0 will take much more. 3.2 has stell crank iirc.

What have you done to get the 25% increase in power?

I was going to say - for 255 BHP it's either already supercharged or it revs to about 7 1/2. ;)
