Title: Super Washer Jets
Post by: oceansoul on 22 January 2009, 18:43:58
My headlight washers seam to be super powered. Is this normal? I seam to get through soooo much window washer, as everytime i wash my windscreen it sprays the headlights. I usually have my sidelights on. On the way home from work i was sat at lights, and washed my windscreen and washed the back window of a renault 5 infront of me, from the mist that the jets spray lol its a bit silly =[

facelift 2.2 with HID's

I think they only spray the headlights when the lights are on either dipped or side

Yeah, even worse is when someones knicked your washer off one headlight. They're impossible to replace and I use about 2.5 litres a week. I've taken to making up a rather weaker mix than usual washer reservoir.

Pull the plug/connectors on the head lamp washer's pump then.  :y  :y  :y

certainly does empty the bottle quick at night...

often wondered about swapping the pumps to give more power to the screen, assuming the headlight pump is more powerfull...?

what fuse is it lff?
