Post by: chrisl_1960 on 25 January 2009, 16:40:13
help please, I've just had a look round the car, and the insde of the NSF tyre is worn, so needs new, the tyres on it are 225/55 ZR 16 99W, looking on line for quotes, i'm getting 195/65 H 15, I've checked the handbook and it gives both, it has alloys, which are the correct ones?

if it has 16 inch tyres on atm then you'll have to get a 16 inch tyre rather than 15 inch as it really wont fit lol!

also you need the same width of tyre and same sidewall ratio so it matches and doesnt send the abs funny

Sorry, should have worded it differently, I'm going to get a couple of new tyres (225/55's) I just wondered which were the correct ones for the car, Iwas guessing the difference is alloys or not?

however, being honest I didn't even notice the different wheel sizes  ;D ;D :y

right...
what you need to do is get the same as whats already on asin 225/55/16 you have to get for example 16 inch tyres (for 16 inch wheels) otherwise they physically wont fit...

you can go for 235/45 if you really wanted them but you'd have to get 235/45/16's because of the wheel size
