Title: engine management light

I need a bit of help please The cars not been used since Friday Night ,it started first turn of the key, (this morning) but was miss-firing  a blip of the throttle cleared up the misfire but the management light is still on
     any ideas please

Trouble is, codereader needed for 2.2 - not sure if any members near you have a OBDII reader, even cheapies like scantool.net should read engine codes

Tried similar on our old 2.2, wouldnt read a thing :(
cheapo tech2 however worked fine.

thanks very much for the offer John, ive had to take it to a garage ( i had to cancel hospital appointments for today that have been changed to tomorrow) Any way it was down on cylinders 2,3, and it needs a service
