...or more precisely, twin turbo ;D
Been thinking of something different to do with the MV6, i want more power! :(
Ive hear dof 1 or 2 being supercharged before, and single turbo... but is there any thats been twin turbo? Is it a legible idea?
Im mates with a master welder who has alot of equipment, so i imagine pipes and brackets and possibly even exhaust could be made for me.
Obviously the internals would be changed with stronger parts to take it... only greyish area in my knowledge is engine management and fuel delivery lol
What do those that know the V6 inside out think? :-/

you'll need a standalone fuel management system like omex 700? or one of a couple of others!
also to run twin turbos you really will need to rebuild the engine if your planning on using any real boost!
also the v6 is crap for turboing as i found out from reading many threads about doing it when i was on with the idea -i got a volvo s60 2.4t which is quite a bit faster than an omega lol! (and you can just remap it for 250bhp) or swap the downpipe, intermittant pipe, get the remap and change the injectors and upgrade the turbo and get 310bhp and 450nm of torque :y

agreed..
getting an original turbo performance car is cheaper , trouble free , and less time consuming then trying to build yourself with some rare exceptions unless you are courtenay..(even it may cost expensive for them also) :-/

it'll still cost courtenay sport money doing r and d basically blowing engines up, melting pistons and generally oppsing them up lmao!

true... probably would be easier, ive been tempted by T5's but i just couldnt part with the MV6  but it wont be an every day car anyway, currently got a leon cupra R for turbo hatch fun, 2 VW diesel run arounds and use of a few other cars... just dont want to get rid of the mig and regret it ;D

talk of experience :y
I admit modding teaches you many..(although I didnt try turbo)
an expensive way of learning ;D

What about using the 2.8 twin turbo out of a vectra/Signum?
Would that be transplanable?
Interestedly.............
