Right, got my engine running after complete rebuild and it's missfiring on 1 and 3. (same as before rebuild only the compression is fine now)
All the spark pulgs are coverd in heavy soot (even on the working cylinders) and I've got a spark on each one and the valve timing is spot on :-/ . No engine light on.
Am I right in still thinking that I've way too much petol getting in :-/

Having a spark with the plug out doesn't necessarily mean you're getting a spark when they're inside the cylinders. Conditions are rather different.

Thats what I was thinkng, that the plug was getting drowned in petrol hence all the soot :-/

i would check the dis pac and that the leads are correctly plugged in to it, are 1 and 3 the right way round? Or is the dis/leads breaked? paper clip test again do you still have crank sensor code? Dis connect battery for 20 mins to clear the codes....then paper clip again to see if its cleared, then start it up and see what it does, if it then gives a code you KNOW its current and relevent.
