Title: heated seat just burnt hole in seat

mornin all is there a stat in the seats to stop them over heating

In facelifts there is a stats, not in prefacelifts.

If its burnt a hole, the pad has failed.

Yup. Make sure its from same era of car, ie prefacelift, mini facelift, or full facelift.
