If you were looking for a brand new replacement for an Omega estate?
I have considered getting one of those Purduo things and 1500 cases of Stella that's on offer at Asda at the minute (3 for £20)
Seriously though, vectra, passat, laguna etc etc.......

doesn't really fill the criteria of replacing the omega estate though does it.
-
Serious question. Can you get a brand new car for £18,000 to replace an Omega estate??

you look at the auctions and the are going for £11k with a bit of mileage on them......no one wants them now the petrol has shot up....ideal candidate for LPG and loads of room under the false floor for a nice big wheel well tank

I agree, but look at the original question:

If you want big the 300C V8 or CRD drops value fast so good value on almost new. If you want smaller the Passat/Octavia are quite good. DPF engine isn't as good as the normal TDi but still goes pretty well. New Mondeo looks interesting but only seen it from outside.
-
why buy brand new only for it to lose a few grand when you put a mile on its clock?
-
0 % finance on a lot of new Vx at the moment
-
Well, if we're changing the rules half way through.....
I would quite like a Volvo XC90. :-/
-
I'd quite like a go on Kylie but it's not likely to happen is it.
-
for 18k you never know ;D
-
True but no 0% and a difficult time explaining it to SWMBO

Quite frankly at £18k there is a lot that's not going to happen for me, so I'll go for a Bugatti Veyron with an Iffor Williams trailer strapped to the back for a bit of practicality. ;D

Yeah, because Iffor Williams trailers don't come with tow bars. ;D
-
Bet your burger van won't come with walls or a roof if you drag it about behind a veyron. ;D ;D

-
TBH there's so little I find inspiring about the new cars around at the moment I'd keep my wallet shut.
