Title: Cambelt change
Post by: Raymienets on 11 February 2009, 11:37:38
Managed to change the cambelt and water pump on my 2.2 without any major problems and with the help of the DVD. The only problem I have now is that the heaters not blowing any hot air. had it ticking over in the drive for about 15 minutes still frozen. Any easy solution or will it start after a good long drive. Cheers

Will give it a go. Was working fine prior to change.

As Mark is suggesting ... it'll be your heater matrix that's air locked.

How do I flush it. Dont even know were it is. New to Omegas

You don't need to flush it, you need to shift the air and get a flow of water through the matrix. It's in the middle of the car, above the transmission tunnel, you can see the pipes go througthe bulk head on the driver's side-ish of the car.
