Wont solve your problem as the fob will need reprogramming (from inside the car) when the new battery is out in.
I would imagine the door will need to be unlocked with the key wether or not you have a new battery.

Battery is a CR 2032 I believe .. and if it is not totally dead, and you change it within 3 minutes I think .. you MIGHT be lucky .....

if not ... manual open and lots of noise .. :)

according to the omegas owners manual
it says the battery must be changed within three minutes otherwise the remote will need resynchronised
so does that mean i  have three minutes and the remote will still work

must type quicker
