Title: Omega Elite Self Leveling Suspension Query
Post by: BigTaf on 13 February 2009, 12:00:37
Hello there,

I would like some advice please.  Had my '02 Omega 2.6 Elite in for a service yesterday and the garage has told me that one the rear shockers is leaking oil.

The replacements are supposed to be very expensive (but am going to call Autovaux this afternoon to double check!)

So the alternative is to convert to a standard set up which will involve new shockers and springs.

Does anyone have any views on whether converting is a good option, or should I stick with the self levelling shocks?

Thanks for any advice.

S/L about £67 + vat each on trade. If you convert, no reason why you should change springs

springs are the same if you have self leveling or not...
