Title: Elite 17'' tyre size
Post by: elitedrivernigel on 13 February 2009, 18:08:52
Hi Guys, newbie here. Have just got myself an ex-police 3.2 Omega and I need some new tyres. It has 17'' Elite alloys on it with 235/45/17 tyres, but they look a bit small. What is the correct size that I should be looking at? TIA, Nigel

Perfect, then a set of Eagle F1s for £250 it is then. Many thanks for your help. Nigel

Brand new and fitted! Normally costs that for one tyre so I mustn't complain.

Was offered those at £46 each, but wasn't sure about wear rate on them.

That's what I thought.
My 'new' Elite alloys have 2 Event & 2 some-other-nondescript tyres on

F1's are now, as I understand it, discontinued by Goodyear and have been for some time.  Once you make sure they have been properly stored and good for use, you could make a few quid if you could purchase a job lot and sell them on...  ;)
