Title: Manual edjustment for elevation on MV6 seats
Post by: Christian on 11 February 2009, 08:56:01
Pete briefly explained what the tool was to do this but i cant find where it goes.

Basically the switch on my drivers seat for up/down as stopped working, its poss motor but unsure.

Ive had the car a month now or just over but i want to slightly lower it and i belive there is a square tool that you can get to wind it down auto?

I cant seem to find where this tool goes on the seat, i thought it was by where the switch is, can anybody point me in the right direction on where this manual adjuster is?

Thanks  :)

I've no specific experience of MV6 seats, but I think you're confusing it with the ability to wind Elites seats back & forward when that motor fails.

the square key only works on the elite seats bud for backwards and fowards movement  :y

Ah rite, that explains it then, is there a fuse for these motors?

Pasenger side works ok or is it usually the motors that pack up?  :)

Either way....the method described in the maintenance guide will

1) Free off any stuck motor
2) Allow manual adjustment
