Title: flip Key programming

Hi Guys!

I have seen a few things on here about trying to put the standard key internals in to a vx flip key, can I assume that this meens you can't programme the car to take this kind of key?

Ok thanks for that! Looks Like i'll be getting the soldering iron and super  glue out then!!!! :-/

I started it at the weekend but I had to give up for a while when i slipped and stuck a sharp craft knife ablut 10mm into my thumb!!! :o

I wouldn't stop bleeding for about an hour!!   :'(

I'll try again soon.

It wouldn't have been half as bad if my dad hadn't said " Careful with that knife" about 90 seconds before it happend!!!!!

Wasn't there a link posted where someone had dismantled a new Corsa flip key and put the guts of an Omega etc key inside?

You didn't read it before you started then .......  ::)

Tools Required:

[size=14]1 x very sharp stanley knife[/size]
.
1 x hot glue gun.
1 x vectra B series key.[/i]

If I'd have used a stanly knife I'd have lost a thumb!!!!!  :-[
