Hi yesterday I locked my doors using remote central locking but my drivers door would not lock so i locked it with the key. The door will not now open remotely or with the key and is in dead lock mode. All the other doors operate as they should. Please can anyone advise how to DIY solve the problem ????.many thanks
Ps its not apparently the door locking sequence as I have had that checked.

Yours is a Face Lift, the Drivers door should open with the Key, but you may have to turn it to the right Harder than normal.
The door lock button may not pop up, even if its dead locked, so you think its still locked. pull the outside door handle open at the same time that your using the key.

Hi
I was warned about this possible problem when I bought my Omega.
You may have to enter car through boot to unlock !! :(

I think it should open with the key but i belive you have to turn it very hard ... almost to the point you think the key will snap.... i've never had to do it myself though .

Can I join in with a related problem? My omega remote fob key no longer works. I have a manual key. Problem is when I use it the car alarm goes off and I cannot figure out how to unlock it without this happening. My husband can do it by looking at the inner light and opening and closing the door, but that just locks me out completely. It's starting to affect how I feel about my car!! How can I open the car door without the alarm going off? Help me please!!!!! >:( :-[

Liza ... The only way is to get the key fixed !! All part of the built-in system.
Now to fix the key can be very expensive via Vx .. but we have our own tame expert .. Mr Martin Imber who does an excellent job of repairing key fobs.
