Is there a" how too fit" on site on replacing front shocks and anyone got idea what the price of replacements are going to be :question
-
Just changed mine - fitted Boge at £108 the pair plus VAT.
Have used these on several cars with no probs.

I think he's more after a 'how to' :)
It's really self explanatory when you get the old one out. One bolt at the top and 2 bolts at the hub...can't go wrong :y
-
however the bolts/nuts at the hub can bet very tigh. Heat. is your friend

i'm under the impression the two bottom bolts also set camber? Is this correct?

Yes, the upper, (only), of the two holes is elongated, and the lower acts as a pivot point.

So a set up recommended then? Unless confident with a spirit level of course...

Set-up is advisable, though I was pretty damn close (watching chaps checking) with my spirit level. 'Bunged' the chaps a tenner as the boss was on usual extended lunch-break.
Needless to say, they get all my set-ups (for cash of course!)
