I though I'd adda few extra photo's of my botch job.
First problem, 1 of the first three bolts to come out is stuck solid and completely rounded off. Access is difficult as it's recessed and as I'd already contorted myself into positions your wouln't imagine trying to get to it and as I had a complete glovebox to go in I cut away the existing trim.

An essential tool for bodge artists like me

Once the 3 bolts are out the top half of the trim lifts but doesn't come off completely, it houses the passenger airbag and 2 screws you'll need to remove. There are a further two screws easily visible within the glovebox.
There is one remaining screw which is concealed by the vents on the left, you'll have to remove this.
These are held by plastic clips so just lever off but be careful not to snap the clips.

Then the semi circular side peice

There is one screw securing the vent itself. Once this is out you still need to encourage the vent out. I used a couple of butter knives.

Undo the final screw securing the glovebox

And it should drop out like this

Ease it out, disconecting the 2 clips for the light. Insert replacement, testing the light before fitting and reverse the above.

Hope that helps.
