Title: Erratic tickover

Hi, guys, I'm new here, just bought an MV6 and the tickover is erratic at idle, it feels as though a plug is on it's way out, will it be that simple or should I look at other things as well?

Does it run fine otherwise (ie not at tickover)?
Worth giving the idle control valve a clean out and checking its properly seated. (Its the small cylindrical thing on a rubber mount on the passenger side of the plenum)

Also check your spark plug wells for oil :y
