Title: poor brake pedal

have problem, with my brakes, have replaced all four disks, and pads, and have had new brake fluid,

the problem is,  there is a lot of travel on the pedal, before the brakes take affect, any ideas please   :-/ :-/ :-/

did you flush the brake fluid or just top it up?

the whole system was bled and filled with new fluid

sounds like there is still air in the system
might be an idea to try a rebleed

Do the brakes feel spongy at all?

not spongey mate, just lot of travel on pedal, before they bite

Sounds like you've 'flipped' the seals in the master cylinder, especially if you levered the pads/caliper pistons 'home' to insert replacement pads. The flow of fluid has been reversed against the seals.

Try a 'PM' to Marks DTM - I think he knows of a possible remedy.

I still initially reckon air in the system.

remember omega has fairly progressive brakes, so if you are comparing to the awful focus feather trigger ones.....
