not had or heard anything else since last nite ,but it decided to let me know that traffic master is no longer subcribed ? wtf !!! :-?
-
Mine's done that... If you accidentally knock the traffic master button it does remind you that your licence has expired... Nothing to worry about :y
-
whta traffic master button ??? where is it sposed to be ? ive looked high and low lol
-
Are you driving a facelift?
Mine is a pre-facelift (mini facelift), and the button is to the right of the steering wheel near the head-lights... :y

It is a button marked with a "T", in miggies usually on the dash board, on the right of the steering wheel, close to the light switch. ;)
.....and yes it will let you know its status every so often! :D :D ;)

And will occasionally even give you traffic info apparently... Mine does it all the time because I renewed the subscription :y :y

yeah i vaguely remember a mates vectra avin it , mine has no buttons marked 't' just the normal stuff traction , hazards , seats etc ???
-
I assumes it still recieves data whether subscribed or not? My actual question being will the number is says to ring be the correct one?
How much is it to subscribe?
-
I can't help thinking that ringing the number will answer at least one, possibly both of your questions

IIRC its about £30 for the year

Aye, probably but i'm stuck at work and very very bored!!
3 hrs to go....ho hum.
-
On all Omegas with TM, the button is just to left of light switch. It has a habit of piping up if the battery isn't brilliant condition.
Occasionally, it may work properly even if unsubscribed, though thats rare.
I like trafficmaster, all 3 of my cars have it fitted. Its not perfect, but its another driver aid.

thats great , but i have no tm button :-?

do you have a hole in the dash where it should be?

You're going to have to start digging then for the actual box of tricks. The aerial is two wires, red one & black one that are taped to the top of the radio cage, it's fed from a plug-in loom between the main loom & the back of the radio & IIRC some are ally casing and some are a black plastic casing that will live somewhere around the fusebox under the steering wheel. :y

Well there you go, I've learned another bit of useless info ;D ;D ;D ....... mine was an ally box & I swapped all mine for a trim without the TM hole years ago.

Is there any real difference between the plastic box and the ally one with the areial . The subscription on mine is just about to expire and would be good to get the better one working . The car had the the ally one fitted when I got it but I had the black one with valid subscription on so I fitted that :-/ :question

Black one has no aerial so easier to retrofit. Also slightly more advanced in that it says whether short or long range on the delay.
-
I will leave the black one in then :y

Mine used to talk to me EVERY time I turned the key, got so annoying I disconnected it, the switch is now used as an interior light OFF switch. Long story. ::)
