Depends on how much you play with the loud pedal :y seriously though the 4 pots are very good for a car of this size.
Insurance wise. I'm 18 and I pay 2200 euro :'( But I don't care :P
Should be alot less for yourself :y

1) Bit high
2) Expect mid 30s day to day (more on runs, less if you rag it around town all day)
3) do an online compare, way too many variables to say

well if i get the car i will definatly be hoping for 20 - 25 in town but expecting well over 30 on the dualler. my driving is pretty good dont speed that often so hoping it wont be a problem lol any less and i dont think i would be able to afford to run it

I get low 20's around town, with a little motorway, and on a trip to London the other day using motoway she done 31Mpg!! but I do have a slightly bigger engine! mate of mine had the 2.2 and he always said he was getting high 20's on average driving!! he could of been pulling my leg though!
-
I have 2.2 and i get on average anywhere between 23 and 26 mpg whilst driving around the town, and up to 36mpg on the motorway if you keep to the limit. Act like a grandad you may get a little more!
-
I've got a 2.2 Auto and as an average of mixed town and a bit of motorway I seem to be getting 28mpg average.
Having said that somedays round here I'm lucky if the display switches out of gallans per hour!!! ;D

Agreed Baz.
I reckon your figures are realistic. Best to shop around/on-line search for insurance quotes.
