Typical the week before i start work again i think the heater matrix has exploded or one of the water pipes has gone.
Does anybody know how to remove it, step by step would be good and also how the hell do you reove the centre console? removed all the screws and still it wont budge its loose but wont come out.
is it a big job, i persume it is as its burried at the bottom.
thanks

You should be able to follow the pipes through from the drivers side footwell, above the pedals and into the heater unit.

are you 100% sure its the matrix and not the usual culprit (passenger side scuttle drain)
that if blocked would cause your floor to be drenched,
pop the cover open and look down the bulkhead, yu should see if its full of water or not.

The centre console - where the gear selector is? This come apart by starting with the storage box between the front seats. Open the box and undo the screws, then you'll see more screws - just keep going from there.
