Title: knocking rear...mv6 suspension
Post by: Mr Stud on 28 February 2009, 07:31:22
got a 2000 facelift mv6 and started knocking on the rear...can notice it more at slow speeds.sounds like the same sort off noise as my vectra did when the antiroll bar bushes failed, can these fail or is it something else....

also the suspension don't feel very stiff for an mv6,seems to ride the bumps instead of going through them if that makes sense..is it meant to be stiffer than other models in the facelift range,or am i just used to driving the stiff suspension on a vectra gsi...

have done a search and noticed it been mentioned about stiffer suspension on pre face but not facelift(unless i missed it)

have you checked the rear springs as the have been known to break may also be worth checking sub frame bushes
