Title: electronic air con temp display
Post by: mc9 on 28 February 2009, 17:19:18
Bought a 2.5TD CDX just before christmas last year. (Water pump failed two weeks later -- something always goes wrong with these old cars.) Replaced a blown bulb in the instrument cluster with the help of the very helpful guide in the Maintenance Section.

The driver's elec air con temp display doesn't illuminate. Is this easy to fix, and how?

Cheers

And if you want brighter, longer lasting LED bulbs...get them here

I bought them as well. Excellent result  :y

Sorted then, is your temp in Fehrenheit ? Mine is, I am sure it was in Centigrade. :-/

Thanks for your help. Job looks manageable. Is there anything special about the bulbs, or are they a standard type? I want to get everything I need before I start the job -- hate having to visit Halfords mid job.

I thought that you could swap from C to F in a facelift car. I know you can with the PRE face lifts , but you need a Tech II to do it.

Found it ... Page 127 (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/andrew.reynolds983/Manuals/Omega2002Manual.pdf)
