My check light keeps comming up saying oil level low. Ive parked the car up and let it stand for a few hours, checked the oil and its been fine, just under the max marker on the dip stick. Should i be worried about the check light say oil level, or could it be the Level sensor or summing playing up? The check light is only ever on for a few mins if that.
It also does it with the washer fluid, says washer level low, then goes out. Thats pretty much full too

as long as you are near the max mark.... :y

As TB said....
Also, the oil leven sensor is inside the sump, so the sump will need to be removed in order to inspect it, not sure it is worth the bother.
The same goes for the washer fluid, the sensor is inside the bottle, though you could change the bottle (with the sensor) if it really bothers you, this is easier than getting to the oil level sensor....

Agree with the above, as long as you realise you have NO low oil warning, so you need to look at the dipstick from time to time. ::)

I would fill it up to the top mark to be safe.
There is I believe an 'Oil Lack' message, which really means it - as in 'Stop and put some rather oil in NOW', vs the 'Check Oil' which should come on at about half way between the marks. So presumably there are two sensors?
